Montreal, QC – October 8, 2009 – Sixtron Advanced Materials, a developer and
provider of scalable and cost-effective silane-free industrial coatings systems, today
announced the appointment of industrial gas industry executive Steven L. Lerner as
strategic advisor and board member. Dr. Lerner, a leading executive with 28 years of
industry experience, including serving as the CTO of Praxair, a Fortune 500 company,
will provide crucial insight and counsel as Sixtron deploys its silane-free anti-reflective
coating system to crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) cell makers throughout the world.
